Tehama County Sheriff Endorses Dom Belza For Assembly
“Dom Belza is the Person willing to Fight Alongside Law Enforcement to Bring Change”
Tehama County, Calif. — Dom Belza’s campaign for State Assembly continues to build momentum with the newly announced endorsement of Tehama County Sheriff Dave Kain. Sheriff Kain adds his name to a growing list of support from prominent public safety leaders across the region including the recently announced endorsement of the Chico Police Officers' Association.
“As Sheriff of Tehama County, I've dedicated my career to protecting our communities and ensuring the safety of our families,” said Sheriff Kain. “Dom Belza is the kind of leader we need in the State Assembly - someone who not only understands the challenges law enforcement faces but also stands firmly in support of public safety. His commitment to holding criminals accountable, supporting local law enforcement, and investing in prevention strategies makes him the right choice for California. I fully support Dom Belza because I know he'll have our backs in Sacramento."
Belza has earned the trust of law enforcement through his leadership on local public safety issues, including his efforts to help pass Prop 36. His work has earned him the support of law enforcement figures from the district, including Sheriff Wendell Anderson and District Attorney Clint Curry of Yuba County, Sheriff Brandon Barnes and District Attorney Jennifer Dupré of Sutter County.
“The events that led to an officer’s death recently in Marysville is just another example of the dangers the men and women in law enforcement face every day while attempting to keep our communities safe," said Belza. “In the Legislature, I will be a strong voice for law enforcement and further expose how the North State has become less safe because of the policy failures in Sacramento.”
With growing support from law enforcement, Dom Belza continues to establish himself as the candidate who will prioritize safety, accountability, and common-sense solutions in the State Assembly.
