Tehama County, Calif. -- Today, Republican Dom Belza announced receiving the endorsement of Tehama County District Attorney Matt Rogers in his campaign for the 3rd Assembly District. Belza is now endorsed by PORAC (California’s largest public safety organization) and every elected Sheriff and District Attorney in Yuba, Sutter and Tehama Counties.

“With crime rates on the rise, Dom Belza is the common-sense leader we need representing us at the State Capitol,” said District Attorney Rogers. “Dom stands firmly with law enforcement while also recognizing the need for smart, forward-thinking reforms to strengthen our justice system that isn’t a revolving door for dangerous criminals. Dom is committed to supporting law enforcement and pursuing innovative solutions to reduce recidivism.”

Many of the North State’s most prominent conservative leaders have lined up with Belza, including the incumbent Assemblymember James Gallagher, Congressman Kevin Kiley, longtime State Senator Jim Nielsen. Belza has also been endorsed by a majority of the Assembly Republican Caucus along with an overwhelming number of local elected officials, business owners and community leaders.
