Chico, Calif. – Today, The American Council endorsed Dom Belza for the 3^rd Assembly District. The American Council is a California-based nonpartisan organization that promotes Christian individuals and candidates to engage in public life. Through education, advocacy, and training, they help individuals and churches apply biblical principles to pressing cultural and civic issues.

Tanner DiBella, President of The American Council cited Dom’s faith and service in the community as reason for support, “Dom Belza's background, faith, and record of service demonstrate the kind of moral conviction we need in our elected leaders. That is why he has earned our full endorsement. At a time when the California Legislature has become increasingly hostile to traditional family values and parental rights, we trust Dom Belza to be a relentless voice for families in the Assembly.”

Responding to the endorsement, Belza stated, “I’m honored to have the support of The American Council because they unapologetically stand up for family values, parental rights and faith. We know that Gavin Newsom and the State Legislature are openly attacking our North State Values and going so far as to rig an election to remove our representatives. I’m running for the State Assembly because I’m willing to do what is needed to protect our unique way of life.”
