Breaking: California Professional Firefighters Endorse Dom Belza

Marysville, Calif. -- Republican Dom Belza announced he has received the endorsement of the California Professional Firefighters (CPF) in his campaign for California’s 3rd Assembly District. Earlier this week Belza announced the endorsement of the local Chico Firefighters Association.

The CPF is the state council for the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), and their membership includes 38,000 full-time, paid firefighters, making it one of the largest public safety organizations in the entire state.

“To have the endorsement of frontline firefighters in this campaign is extremely important to me,” said Dom Belza. “We all know the dangers the North State and this district in particular face when it comes to wildfire dangers. The men and women on the front lines need someone who will fight for their needs and make sure they have the resources needed when the emergencies call. I will be that representative and I will be honored to do it.”

About Dom Belza

This dedication inspired him to run for City Council. He also volunteers at his church and with many local service organizations and industry groups. Dom's family has been involved in agriculture for four generations in the North State. He understands the challenges our farming and ranching community face on issues like labor, water, and costs.
