It’s Official: Assemblyman James Gallagher Endorses Dom Belza
Marysville, Calif. – In a major development in the election for the 3rd Assembly District, today Assembly Republican Leader James Gallagher announced he is endorsing Dom Belza for the seat he is vacating due to term limits.
“I’ve thought long and hard about who would be best suited to represent our district. I believe Dom has the strength of character and leadership qualities to continue the fight for the people of the North State,” said Gallagher. "He has deep roots in the district and shares our cherished values. I proudly endorse him and ask my supporters to give Dom their consideration as he steps out to serve.”
Belza has continued to secure high-profile endorsements from across the 3rd Assembly District since launching his campaign just a few weeks ago. Most recently, he announced the endorsement of longtime North State Senator Jim Nielsen.
“I’m incredibly humbled by the support of so many great community leaders early in this campaign, but to have the endorsement of Assemblyman James Gallagher is truly special,” said Dom Belza. “I look forward to continuing his legacy of strong, conservative leadership. Our region has been well-represented, and I am committed to ensuring that tradition continues when I'm elected.”
The 3rd Assembly District encompasses all or portions of six counties: Butte, Sutter, Yuba, Tehama, Glenn, and Placer.
