Belza Announces Support from Powerhouse of Chico Leaders

CHICO – Today, State Assembly candidate Dom Belza announced endorsements from some of the most influential and effective community advocates in the City of Chico. The individuals endorsing Belza have played a critical role in almost every major Chico political victory for conservatives in recent years. The local leaders joining Assemblyman James Gallagher in support for Belza include:

Chico Mayor Kasey Reynolds, who has also endorsed Belza, noted the significance of today’s announcement, “This is an absolute all-star lineup of support. And it speaks volumes to the confidence that we have in Dom to be our representative in Sacramento. Trust me when I say that these folks know how to organize and make things happen.”

 

Chico is the largest city in the 3rd Assembly District with a population over 100,000. Despite a 16% Democrat voter registration advantage, the Chico City Council has enjoyed a conservative majority since 2020. The powerhouse lineup of individuals noted above have played a major role in the city’s political shift - raising hundreds of thousands of dollars, organizing grassroots activism and keeping the community informed through social media and other channels. 

  

About Dom Belza

 

Dom has been married to his wife, Julia, for 11 years, and together they have four children: three daughters—Rylee (9), Raegan (7), and Ruby (5)—and one son, Johnny (2). Outside of his professional life, Dom is passionate about serving and giving back to his local community. This dedication inspired him to run for City Council and he continues to drive his volunteer work through his church and local service groups, including various service organizations and industry groups. Dom's family has been involved in agriculture for four generations in the North State. He understands the challenges our farming and ranching community faces on issues like labor, water, and costs.

 

The 3rd Assembly District encompasses all or portions of six counties: Butte, Sutter, Yuba, Tehama, Glenn, and Placer.
