Rare, Early, and Unanimous Sutter GOP Endorsement Goes To Dom Belza in Assembly Race
SUTTER COUNTY, Calif. -- Last night, the Sutter County Republican Central committee issued an endorsement to Dom Belza in the Third District Assembly election. The highly coveted endorsement is a rare occurrence for open seat elections this early in a campaign and highlights the clear distinction Belza has over other Candidates.
Ashley Carr, Chair of the Sutter County Republican Central Committee, stated, “This election is too important. Our Party felt the need to unite behind a candidate early to remove any doubt that we will have continued strong Republican leadership in the Assembly. Dom Belza is a conservative Republican with a record of activism and results. Dom is easily the best choice to be our next Assemblyman - that’s why he has our support.”
“Having the endorsement of a Republican Central Committee this early in the campaign is considered the gold standard and one that every candidate is trying to work towards,” said GOP Consultant Andre Levesque. "It instantly proves a candidate has credible conservative values and leads to a fundraising advantage. Make no mistake about it. This is a major endorsement."
Sutter County is a major community and entirely nested within the Third Assembly District.
Belza is considered the front runner in the election with major high profile endorsements from all around the Third Assembly District including Assembly Republican Leader, James Gallagher and former State Senator Jim Nielsen.
