Chico Police Officers' Association Endorses Dom Belza For Assembly
Butte County, Calif. – In a key development in the campaign for California’s 3rd Assembly District, the Chico Police Officers’ Association (Chico POA) has announced its endorsement of Republican Dom Belza. The Chico POA represents the men and women of the Chico Police Department—the largest police department in the 3rd Assembly District.
In their endorsement, Chico POA President Tyler Rainey stated: “Dom Belza has earned the endorsement of the Chico Police Officers’ Association because he doesn’t just understand the issues facing the community and law enforcement—he takes action. From leading efforts to pass Prop 36 to his proven record as a dedicated public servant, Dom has shown he has the experience, the leadership, and the determination to deliver real results for our community and those who protect it.” Through his community engagement and leadership on critical issues—such as his work to pass Prop 36—Dom Belza has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to public safety and community well-being. That’s why he has earned the trust and support of law enforcement professionals across the district. Belza has also received endorsements from several prominent law enforcement leaders, including Sheriff Wendell Anderson and Clint Curry of Yuba County, as well as Sheriff Brandon Barnes and District Attorney Jennifer Dupré.
